revealed new home for google home hub. have you heared?

google home hub

During today’s unveiling of the Google Home Hub, Google announced that a major update is coming to the Google Home app. And when I say “major,” I’m talking about an update that turns it into the ultimate smart home hub app we’ve dreamed of.

The new Google Home app brings a new home tab that includes a breakdown of your smart home by room and device. That way, instead of thumbing through multiple apps to control your home, you can do it all within a single app, the Google Home app. For example, you can quickly turn off or on the lights in your kitchen, pause music in the living room, and turn off the smart plug in the garage, just by tapping on shortcuts to each rather than telling Google Assistant too.
Should you want to talk to Google Assistant, you now can within the app. The app, which you can see below, features a shortcut to Assistant to get things done without having to shout out “Hey, Google” or long-press on your home button.
Additionally, the new Home app has quick actions at the top of your room and device list for actions you might complete regularly.

Thinking of cities as interconnected spaces operating holistically is one of the hallmarks of smart city planning. Embracing new modes of transportation is a key priority for smart cities. For instance, Atlanta  recently passed legislation  requiring certain new construction to include charging stations for electric vehicles. Supporting this underlying infrastructure will allow clean, efficient vehicles (and driverless cars) to take over urban travel. But if the cities of tomorrow are going t

At Facebook, public funds join push to remove Zuckerberg as chairman Arjun Panchadar, Ross Kerber (Reuters) - Four major U.S. public funds that hold shares in Facebook Inc on Wednesday proposed removing Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg as chairman following several high-profile scandals and said they hoped to gain backing from larger asset managers. State treasurers from Illinois, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania, and New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer, co-filed the proposal. They oversee money including pension funds and joined activist and original filer Trillium Asset Management. A similar shareholder proposal seeking an independent chair was defeated in 2017 at Facebook, where Zuckerberg’s majority control makes outsider resolutions effectively symbolic. Rhode Island State Treasurer Seth Magaziner said that the latest proposal was still worth filing as a way of drawing attention to Facebook’s problems and how to solve them.
